Ekiti State Governor, Mr. Biodun Oyebanji, has approved the appointment of a multi-media journalist, Mrs. Mary Oso Omotoso as Senior Special Assistant on Community Communications.
Mrs. Omotosho had previously served as Special Assistant on Media to former Governor, Dr. Kayode Fayemi, and later as Special Assistant on Media to former First Lady, Erelu Bisi Fayemi.
The Ado Ekiti-born strategic communicator is a multiple award-winning media and Public Relations professional who is renowned for her role as a co-creator of a popular grassroots communication programme, “S’etigbo?”, during the immediate past administration.
Mrs. Omotosho, who started her media career with the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (Radio Nigeria), is well-rooted in Advertising, Public Relations, Strategic and Political Communications.
In her new role, she is to ensure there is no communication gap between the government and the people.
The appointment, however, takes immediate effect.
