Due to his inability to show up for a concert he was paid for, Nigerian artist Kizz Daniel was detained in Tanzania.
He allegedly “blatantly refused” to perform because his clothes—which he supposedly left in Uganda—were not available.
The “Buga” singer was led out of his hotel and into the back of a pickup truck in a video that was shared online.
Many of his admirers in Tanzania vented their annoyance on Twitter, bemoaning the fact that people spent up to $5,000 to attend his show despite their dislike of his behavior.
For failing to appear at paid events, Kizz Daniel will be criticized three times in 2022.
